Across two decades of building software, the same constraint keeps surfacing. A clinic, a ministry, a farm and a startup are rarely limited by how much they want to achieve. They are limited by where they are, how many hands they have, and what resources they can reach — the three things technology is uniquely able to dissolve.
Yconsoft exists to dissolve them. Not to ship software for its own sake, but to make technology a natural extension of the organisation it serves — across blockchain, artificial intelligence, medicine, agriculture, embedded systems, and the research that precedes all of it.
Most companies set out to build products. We are interested in the harder work: building what does not yet have a competitor, and teaching the people who will build the next one. That is why our academy sits beside our engineering practice rather than behind it.

Yconsoft began as a software practice and grew outward along the problems clients actually brought us. That now covers eight areas — blockchain, artificial intelligence, finance, medicine, agriculture, applied research, embedded systems and general software development — run from offices in Osogbo, Lagos and Akure. The work has ranged from digital transformation for professional services firms to system architecture for business operations and mining technology.
How we engage matters more than the list. We build alongside your team rather than around it, so the people who will live with a system understand it before we hand it over. The measure of a good engagement is not that it ends well — it is that you can extend the thing yourself afterwards, without calling us.
The same logic runs through Yconsoft Academy and Ycareerd, our internship platform. Every engagement is finite; the engineers are not. Training the next set of builders is the part of the work that compounds.
